Practice Makes Perfect
Usually parents have to nag their kids to practice. Not Mia! We beg her to stop. Don’t get me wrong, I love her enthusiasm, just not at 6:00 am. All of her hard work has paid off, as this year she played in the Elementary Senior Orchestra, was Concert Mistress of the Elementary Junior Orchestra, and was second violin in a quintet.
Mia was excited to be chosen as Concert Mistress for the Elementary Junior Orchestra. As the Concert Mistress, Mia entered the stage last and everyone tuned to her violin.
Mia had her first violin recital on Sunday, May 23. She played "Allegro" by Shinichi Suzuki.
We are all very proud of Mia's accomplishments this year. While our traveling minstrel may be annoying at times, we all agree that her dedication to her instrument has paid off! ~ Shelley
